What is MYC-JX8MX CPU Module?
The MYC-JX8MX CPU Module is an ARM SoM powered by the NXP i.MX 8M Quad processor with up to 5 ARM cores (1.3GHz quad ARM Cortex-A53 cores and a real-time ARM Cortex-M4 co-processor).
It is high-performance and aims to offer solutions to Scanning/Imaging, Building Automation and Smart Home, Human Machine Interface (HMI), Machine Vision and more other consumer and industrial applications which require high multi-media performance.

As often, MYIR provides a versatile platform MYD-JX8MX development board to evaluate the SoM. The MYD-JX8MX evaluation board consists of the MYC-JX8MX CPU Module and the baseboard which is built around MYIR’s MYC-JX8MX CPU Module with 1GB / 2GB LPDDR4, 8GB eMMC Flash, 256Mbit QSPI Flash.
Many peripheral interfaces are available from the baseboard including 4 x USB 3.0 host ports and 1 x USB 3.0 Host/Device port, Gigabit Ethernet, TF card slot, USB based Mini PCIe interface for 4G LTE Module, WiFi/BT, Audio In/Out, HDMI, 2 x MIPI-CSI, MIPI-DSI, 2 x LVDS display interfaces, PCIe 3.0 (x4) NVMe SSD Interface, etc. necessary cables is also available with the board when getting it out of the box.
The board is preloaded with Linux 4.9.88 OS.
